The Community Reinvestment Act, enacted in 1977, encourages banks to help meet the credit needs of the communities in which they do business, including low - and moderate - income neighborhoods.
Under the CRA, the following information must be maintained in a public file, current as of April 1 of each year:
- Public Comments received regarding how the bank is helping to meet the community's credit needs for the current year and the prior two calendar years, including the banks response to those comments
- A copy of the Public Evaluation of the bank's most recent CRA Performance Evaluation
- Branch Locations And Hours
- Branches Opened Or Closed during the current year and prior two calendar years
- A description of the products and services offered through Farmers State Bank
- Bank Fees
- The Farmers State Bank's Assessment Areas that represent the communities we serve
- The Bank's Loan To Deposit Ratio for each quarter of the prior calendar year
